I'm Christian O. Bernal Zelaya! I am currently a second year Ph.D. student in the department of statistics at the University of California, Irvine. My research interests are currently time-series analysis, Bayesian nonparametrics, and stochastic processes. I have applied my research interests to infectious disease modeling and have an interest in package development to encourage open science.
Outside of academics, I enjoy working on finance models, going to the gym, playing soccer, working on my car, and watching movies. Feel free to take a look around my site!
